Guests are also welcome to explore the property, enjoy the walking trail, and make use of other common areas on Heartwood Mountain as desired, while respecting other guests.
Horizon Hideout is one of four yurts located atop Heartwood Mountain, a beautiful local ridgeline overlooking the local forest and game lands of the PA Wilds. While each yurt offers privacy, you will have neighbors, though this will in no way detract from your nature experience.
Things to Note:
• Pet fee must be paid prior to arrival and noted on your reservation.
• Winter Message: 4WD or AWD is strongly recommended in winter (Dec–March) due to snow. Roads are plowed and salted, but conditions can vary.
