« My wife and I recently enjoyed our first visit to St. Croix. It is a fascinating island with so much rich history; we made sure to explore the sights at Fort Frederik and Christiansted, and took in the beautiful views at Point Udall.
The Buccaneer Resort is a lovely property, and overall, we had a good stay. The atmosphere is very quiet, the breakfast buffet was excellent, and the drinks at the beach were fantastic. Most of the staff were friendly and welcoming.

« By far the best beach on the island. The property has everything you need. Cute. Modest. Steps from the beach. Perfect for a short term or long term stay! I would not hesitate to recommend to my friends and family, or book again! Cottages by the Sea is my new Happy Place!!!!! »

« J'ai aimé la plage et la mer. Le personnel est très attentif aux besoins et répond aux questions posées. Je n'ai pas aimé la façon dont le transport de l'hôtel vers les différents points d'attraction se fait. Si tu n'as pas de voiture il faut négocier le prix du transport avec les chauffeurs de taxi. Les prix peuvent être exagérés si tu n'as pas d'idée. Ce n'est pas réglementé et il faut payer cash .

« The property was misrepresented by very old images on Expedia. The property is worn out and tired. Work was needed everywhere and at best is a 2 star hotel. Not enough staff to keep up the property and garbage everywhere including on the beach. Beach is beautiful but the water is unsuitable to swimming due to rip tides. No security on property and felt unsafe a number of times. »

« The property needs a major facelift and pictures on the website are very misleading. The bathrooms have rest inside of them. The paint is peeling and rusted on all of the rails in the resort.
