You can’t really do more than tread water as there are signs warning of the riptide. It also rains A LOT! Upon arriving at my hotel room, I found dirty wet towels on the floor of my shower. And while I was grateful for the onsite restaurant as taxis are impossible to get and extremely expensive and I was too afraid to drive my rental car on the left side of the road and there’s NOTHING within walking distance, the food was disgusting and if the service had been any slower, time would have moved backwards. Overall, my visit to St. Croix and this hotel in particular was awful. On top of everything, the TV in my room didn’t work and I couldn’t call the “front desk” - there was none! - because there was no phone in my room. Just a horrendous experience overall." Asked for a glass of wine at dinner and was told no…...Had to go to the bar and get any alcoholic drinks yourself. Quite a few mornings there wasn’t much left on the breakfast buffet. When you go to an all inclusive for all you can eat/drink……..it’s disheartening when you show up and it is nothing like what was depicted on the website. Not worth the money spent. We spent way more time off of the resort unfortunately.
