"The hotel is definitely painted over. It is very dark in the hallways and rooms in order to cover up imperfections. The room was very spacious. The pool was nice, but small and did get crowded even during the week in July."

"Nice hotel. Only issue was the elevators weren’t working only 1 was. With the roof top crowd trying to get in and hotel guests trying to get go their room was a big hectic and frustrating."

"The employees were amazing and so nice. The rooms are a little small but clean. They also have a water bottle filling station on every floor but it’s a little slow. Not bad tho. Nice stay."

"The Sonesta is located in a great location with easy access to anything in the city. Staff was friendly and check in and out were quick. Beds and pillows are super comfy. My complaints are minor over all. Baths are too small but that’s what you get for a city hotel. I’m accustomed to such small baths in NYC though but not a Philly hotel. Also there was no end table on one side of the bed and no plug for charging a phone on that side of the bed. You gotta have a small table on both sides of a king bed. Still, I’d stay there again if the price were right."

"Great location. Room was comfy. Water pressure was great. If one complaint, room was near staff storage room, noisy early in the morning. Overall I recommend and will stay again just not in room 509"
