We had grand parents, parents, and an elementary school aged grandchild in one house and it worked wonderfully for us all. The steps to the basement are steep and the steps are narrow, but majority of the time can be spent up stairs for those who have a hard time with steps. It was a nice neighborhood and with in 30-45 minutes to a majority of the bigger sights in Indy.
