We were incredibly disappointed with our recent stay at this hotel. When we booked, no one mentioned that the entire floor and amenities had been reserved out by a private group for Shabbos which completely ruined our weekend. We were completely barred from using the pool and the hot tub because the private group had locked them down. The common areas in the hotel lobby were completely taken over by the event. We were told we could not be in the lobby and made to feel like outsiders in a hotel we paid full price to enjoy. Hotel staff and security actually told us we had to go to our room and that we could only use certain elevators. This made getting to our room a slow and frustrating hassle. Paying full price for a hotel means having access to the full hotel experience. Management should have warned regular guests about these massive restrictions. We will not be returning. We were told by security that these events regularly occur, so be aware before booking.

I have had the experience of staying in numerous hotels previously, but unfortunately, the Stamford Suite fell short of expectations, particularly given its location in a city with a high cost of living. My disappointment was palpable. In contrast to the superior accommodations I encountered in some Third World countries, the Stamford Suite left much to be desired. Upon arrival, the front desk personnel failed to greet me, and when I expressed gratitude for the key, I wasn't acknowledged. Further inspection of the room revealed a dirty carpet with tears and a broken closet door. The environment triggered severe sneezing fits, which I later attributed to the dust accumulation on the windows and the unhygienic conditions under the kitchen sink, where I spotted mouse traps. When I attempted to check out, the onsite manager informed me that I wouldn't be able to do so without penalty. I explained my allergies to dust and dirty carpet, but was told I'd forfeit my payment. It was only when I threatened to share photographic evidence of the mouse traps that the manager became dismissive, questioning my reasons for exploring the area under the sink. I strongly advise against staying here
