While the staff were very friendly and professional, we were very disappointed to notice how much the cleanliness and upkeep of the property has gone down since our last visit in 2024. The first thing that was noticed was the weeds and garbage all over the parking lot. It’s definitely not a good first impression when you pull up. The main lobby and courtyard area is still very beautiful and relaxing, but we were disappointed to see how cloudy the water of the pool was. I thought it was either very dirty or the chemicals are not properly balanced. There is disrepair with the pool lining and worn furniture needing replacing. There was garbage and a housekeeping trolly that stayed on the fourth floor hallway our entire stay and our room was not sufficiently clean. There were hairs in the sink and in the tub and the window looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in two years. We really do love this hotel and it has a lot of potential to be a great stay but attention to detail is essential when asking people to pay to stay.
