"We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at this Cannon Lake Home. The cabin is SO well appointed with everything you need plus so many thoughtful extras. Usually with vacation rentals the pictures sort of over-sell the property. But with this one, it's better than the photos.Breauna's communication and hospitality were amazing. She's a great host and we would definitely come back.We stayed on a chilly fall weekend, so we did not make use of the lake or pontoon at all, but the game room was great for entertaining teenage kids while mom and dad relaxed in the quiet lake house with great views.It should be noted, that the loft area and the bunk room are above the garage/game room. If you have younger kids, they do have options for an adult to sleep out there on temporary or pull out beds. But if you plan sleep in one of the comfy king sized beds pictured and your kids are in the bunk room, you will be in separate buildings. It was great for us, maybe not for younger kids.The outside space was also amazing with the gazebo, firepit, grill area and tons of yard games. Just SO many ways to enjoy this space!"

"The location of the motel is less than attractive, but convenient as it is very close to the exit from Interstate 35. Our expectations were frankly low at the price, but the room turned out to be nice and well kept. The beds were comfortable, the water was hot. No surprise in low-price hostelries, the breakfast offerings were minimal."

"The hotel is great for those who don’t want to be bothered. It’s a nice place just a little worn down. Pool was amazing! Breakfast was great! but the rooms need updating. No fan in the bathroom so the bathroom stayed moist. Beds were a little hard but not bad. Ac was great. Parking lot a little dark so it can be a little creepy but that meant no bright light shining through the curtains. Great check in easy and fast. There was a guy outside, felt like every time I would let my dog out he was there, was odd but not menacing. Stayed for 3 nights. This hotel is dependent on the kind of person you are. If your looking for somthing with decent rates a hot breakfast and a pool, I’d reccomend it. But if your used to nice hotels you will not like it."

"Room was clean and hotel was quiet. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Hotel is close to restaurants and bars that are within a short walk. Definitely would stay again if I find myself back in Owatonna."
