"Easy location while traveling. Had what we needed in the room. One reason we choose this hotel was due to the included breakfast. Unfortunately, there was t enough food for the number of people using the breakfast bar. The food ran out an hour after opening."

"Beds were great. Motel is older and room was dated. The bathroom door had a loose hinge and lamps needed bulbs replaced...the manager was friendly, parking was spacious, the AC worked. There was an ice machine and a guest laundry, although that room could use a good cleaning."

"We just had a one night stay in Montrose at Motel. It was easy to find an easy to access. All of the rooms are quite small. They were certainly well maintained and spotlessly clean. Paragraph breakfast is exactly what it says. It was to give us enjoyed our stay at the main car in Montrose."

"We have been staying at this location for the last 18 years, and it recently changed hands. They have done some nice upgrades but it's a work in progress. The lower scores in some areas were offset by the reasonable cost....and the fact that the A/C was great on a very hot night!"

"We wanted to visit the Black Canyon of the Gunnison NP and found Cedar Creek Lodging to be a convenient location. We booked a Tiny House unit and didn't know what to expect except it's going to be a small place. To our pleasant surprise the Tiny house was cozy and has nice pine wood finish inside. Modern LED lighting. Microwave oven, fridge, shower, toilet, and a tiny sink next to the shower. The WiFi is a little spotty couldn't get good connection to Internet."

"The first room the clerk assigned us had A/c that would not come on and the toilet seat was laying on the floor in the bathroom. He assigned us another room quickly and everything functioned t in the new room."

Cabin with Jaw-dropping Views near Black Canyon

"Sitting on the back porch and watching the sunrise every morning, while the deer and prairie dogs go about their business, was incredibly peaceful. There were some flies to be dealt with upon arrival, and the bed was... Not great, but aside from that, you are getting exactly as it seems. A very quiet, secluded, peaceful space with not just an incredible view, but an environment that is alive."
