"We had an incredible stay at this Chauvin property and can't recommend it highly enough. The location right on the bayou is unbeatable — the sunrises and sunsets over the water were absolutely stunning, and it's an ideal home base for anyone looking to fish (redfish were biting right nearby, which made it even better for us).The home itself was spotless and incredibly well stocked. We barely had to bring anything — everything we needed was already there, from kitchen essentials to linens. It's clear the host puts real care into making sure guests are comfortable.Speaking of the host, they were fantastic — responsive, welcoming, and clearly proud of the property. It showed in every detail.If you're looking for a clean, comfortable, well-equipped place with gorgeous bayou views and great fishing access, this is it. We'll definitely be booking again!"

Pelican's View Lodge- Boat Launch- Trailer Parking- Lights for night fishing

"This was a last minute stay for my husband and I and another couple . We usually do a yearly fishing trip to chauvin ,the whole family usually stay at one sight but this year we decided to go at last minute. The pelican View Lodge was incredible it had everything a true fisherman /fisherwoman would need and want the outdoor had a place for everyone in the family for whatever activities you were having . Like boil crab/shrimp they had a set up , frying fish or grilling they had a set up, having drinks at the bar they had a setup , fishing off the deck they had a setup. Family gathering on the upstairs deck there was a setup plus a screen in sitting area. This is all outside plus two boat launch area right on the water . Just come down stairs and hop in the boat for easy access to the water way . The inside was clean nice and comfortable they thought of everything to make your stay as pleasant and unforgettable as can be . Our only regret is not staying longer . This is definitely a MOST BOOK CAMP."
