We stayed at the property with another couple for a Louisiana adventure. This home was near were we charter fished so it was great for early mornings. On the other days we enjoyed an airboat ride, New Orleans and Grand Isle. The property was located perfect for us. We sat on the deck every night watching gators and fishing. Very roomy, very clean, and very nicely appointed. The area under the back deck is perfect for fishing and crabbing out of the elements. The location was great - close to several fishing spots that we frequent. The owner Raymond was quick to respond with any questions we had and was a pleasure to deal with. At least 4 different individuals. Caught enough blue crab for a boil for 6 adults over two nights. Within in 90 minutes of New Orleans and Gtand Isle (amazing beaches). 45 minutes away from “Air Boat Tours by Arthur” (1-800-975-9345). We went on a sunset cruise with them. Coming from New York and New Jersey, I love this location and property. It has everything needed to just relax and enjoy myself on the Bayou. The deck was amazing.. Even in the extreme heat of a Louisiana August, I could sit outside all day and watch the wildlife. It was a very comfortable stay of 13 days. We BBQ'd, and also brought food back to picnic outside from the many different restaurants in Houma. My Mother enjoyed the lower level bedroom and bath and I had the 2nd floor bedroom and bath to myself, which was perfect! The 3rd bedroom is a bonus, we just didnt need to use it. Its a great space with tons of room. If you love the Bayou area and don't want to be too far from civilization, I highly recommend this sweet spot! ##### Angela Y.
