I rented 3 rooms for my family to stay for 2 nights over May long 2016. We are looking at property to purchase in the area and used the motel as ground zero. We received a friendly welcome in the office, all 3 rooms were ready although we arrived 45 minutes before check in, the rooms are a great size. This lodge is run by the most amazing staff. Richard greeted us and invited us to afternoon tea, before we started the checking in process. We had a wonderful stay at Happy Salmon Motel. It was perfect for us after a long drive. The room was so comfortable and just what we needed. I can hardly wait to come back. We did just that, found a great restaurant, then walked to the pier and stopped for ice cream at the corner store. 10/10

The rooms clean

Quite and clean comfortable bed

All the staff were very kind and polite. Helpful if i was to require assistance of any kind. I would definitely stay here again when i come back.

What's not to like? This is an outstanding property and I am looking forward to returning in happier times for a longer stay. If you have never been to Kentucky horse country this is a perfect Canadian introduction.

It is a very nice place with a pool & a hot tub. Very clean & comfortable.

The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, the food was excellent, and the amenities were fantastic. We had a beautiful lake-view room, which made our stay even more special. The entire experience was relaxing, comfortable, and exactly what we were hoping for during our little getaway. You can tell the staff take pride in making their guests feel...
