"Hotel is totally refurbished. Everything looks brand new. No frills hotel. Continental breakfast with bagels, oatmeal, fruit, pastries. Very clean and comfortable. If you just need a clean, comfortable room for a night, this fits the bill."

"Well the Hotel was very clean and maintained. Rooms were clean,beds were very comfy. The only disappointment was the hot tub was still not working. Now this was my 2 time since Nov. 2025 being there and it was broken in Nov of 2025. Still not fixed ."

"Website said they had a pool but got there and they said the pool was closed. This should be posted on the website. Room was clean but the bathroom had mold around ceiling above tub/shower"

"The toilet paper was the only good part. The room was absolutely dirty and that's the ones with Jacuzzi and smoking. I was supposed to stay 3 nights and left after the first night. The beds are hard as rocks. They only give you 3 pillows. The coffee pot was broken and the smoke alarm contained to beep all night as the battery was dead. I didn't call for service as I didnt want to stay in that room even one night. Absolutely trashy place."

"The Roycroft Inn is a nice older history laden inn, and fine if that is your cup of tea. The very things that we were not happy with, small bathroom, too many stairs to our room, distance from the guest rooms to our small room, almost empty ice chest, etc., may well be offset by the friendly people at the front desk, the polished old wood, and the fairly comfortable bed. It is like a bed and breakfast on colonial steroids. "

"Thank you! We had a really great stay with the exception of one thing- on Thursday, April 9 we came back to the hotel during the afternoon. Upon arrival, we discovered that our room keys had been deactivated and we couldn’t get into our room. I went to the front desk and told the person there and she re-activated our keys. When we entered our room, it was apparent that our bags had been looked through. Things were moved and taken out of our bags. Nothing seemed to have been taken but it was incredibly unnerving that our things had been touched and looked through. I reported the incident and was assured a manager would be notified but I wanted to also say something here. There are many many options for hotels in the area. This is our third stay at this location and we are disappointed that this happened."
