"We were pleasantly surprised that the property could comfortably fit 12 people—something most rentals struggle with. The beautiful view and private dock were absolutely perfect! The lake itself was stunning, huge, and so quiet that it felt like we had our own private space. The kitchen was well-stocked with all the essentials, and having a washer and dryer to dry our clothes after a day on the water was a fantastic bonus. The drive from West Ontario was long, but honestly, we’d do it all over...

"From our arrival and seeing Bill unloading wood for our stay and showing us around the property, and the things we will need to know to the beautiful rustic interior of the cottage and the view of the lake, with all the wild life, this was absolutely a amazing 9 days for us and our dogs. There was everything you would need in the cottage and the covered patio was a bonus especially when we had a couple days of rain, we could still sit outside. "We had a lovely time at the cottage. The air was great, the drinking water excellent, the stars and the moon were enchanting, as were sunrise and the sunset. We patronized the local businesses and found all the people extremely friendly. Because of our age limitations we were unable to use the canoe, kayak or pedal boat. We were disappointed that we found the lake not good for swimming even at Centennial Park. Right in the middle of our stay there was a cold spell with the temperature going...

"WE had a family vacation with 4 children 9-18 years and 6 adults. The place is as described, but one needs to read the description carefully - see next re water access. The access to the water is not easy as it is down a path through rocks and when you get to the water it is all green and slimy with a dock covered in goose poop. We did go kayaking, but swimming etc. is not an option. You can go to other beaches, but the lake had an E.coli outbreak so there was no swimming. An in-ground pool...
