"This property is currently under new management and really needs a lot of work to bring it up to standard, particularly for the price they're charging, the accommodation was not adequate and poor value for money spent. It is not clean, a bit shabby in decor, and the grounds are very messy requiring a real lot of hard work, It is pet-friendly which is excellent and the host was accommodating in the ways he could be, quite friendly, yet it was promoted as a cottage and our accommodation was more...

Was a great cottage vacay with beautiful lakeside access and would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a quiet getaway into nature.Pool was very clean and perfect for the hot summer days. "Rooms were quiet. Beds were comfortable. Air conditioning worked well. Location was great for us. Cafe on site was very helpful. Bar on site was fun. Staff was very helpful. Very rural area so be prepared. Whatever is around closes early. Gas station, convenience store, sub shop right across the road. Would stay again!"

"This was a beautiful property and the cottage we stayed in was lovely. It had great open spaces and beautiful bedrooms. The kitchen was very modern with all new appliances. The host was very attentive and friendly. He made sure that all of our needs were met. He directed us to local attractions and offered to light our fire for us.The only drawback for us was the walk to the waterfront. There is a steep hill that has stairs, but as we are both seniors and my partner has had an ankle replacement, we found the climb a bit challenging and only ventured down once."

"Very well appointed, clean older cottage with a wonderful view from their big screened porch. Very comfortable and we lacked for nothing. Yard to the lake was so pretty with its black squirrels scampering about. Quiet lake for fishing, but water is weedy along the shore. It's a great place to relax from your busy life and enjoy the quiet in old time comfort. We loved it."
