Une propriété moderne avec chauffage/air conditionné central et chargeur de voiture électrique. Parmi les autres caractéristiques, on trouve une planche à pagaie, des kayaks, un bateau à pagaie, un espace de travail, un filet de badminton et un lit king-size. \*Nouveauté pour 2024 - un quai sera installé au printemps ! Que vous recherchiez une escapade paisible, une aventure divertissante ou simplement l'occasion de renouer avec la nature, notre chalet offre une évasion tranquille où les sons des huards et des vagues légères caressant les rives sont la norme. L'espace Le chalet est situé au niveau du lac et fait face à l'ouest pour capturer parfaitement les couchers de soleil époustouflants chaque nuit. Les parents ont une vue dégagée sur les enfants qui jouent dans l'eau depuis l'une des deux terrasses, où vous pourrez également savourer votre café du matin, vous régaler d'un délicieux barbecue ou déguster un verre de vin tout en écoutant les sons de la nature et en admirant une splendide palette de couleurs ou un ciel nocturne étoilé. L'eau elle-même a une entrée progressive et est très peu profonde au début, ce qui la rend parfaite pour les enfants et les plus petits. Les eaux ont également tendance à se réchauffer plus rapidement que d'autres lacs car Varty n'est généralement pas aussi profond. La propriété est si bien arborée qu'on ne la voit pas depuis la route ! L'abondance d'arbres et de feuillage la rend plus privée par rapport aux voisins et vous donne vraiment l'impression d'avoir votre propre morceau de forêt - sans oublier que certaines parties offrent une ombre généreuse. En entrant, vous serez accueilli par une atmosphère propre et pittoresque qui mélange des touches modernes avec des éléments rustiques. De nouveaux planchers, portes et fenêtres ont été ajoutés en 2023, donnant à l'intérieur une sensation moderne et chic. Mais ne vous y trompez pas, la grande porte-patio et les fenêtres lumineuses de style auvent vous rappellent que vous êtes vraiment en pleine nature, avec des vues panoramiques sur le lac scintillant et les arbres environnants, vous permettant de vous sentir vraiment immergé dans le cadre tranquille. Le chalet dispose d'une cuisine entièrement équipée, récemment rénovée, comprenant des appareils modernes tout neufs, dont un lave-vaisselle, une cuisinière à surface lisse et un nouveau réfrigérateur avec un filtre à eau entièrement consommable. Le salon est un havre spacieux de style urbain avec des touches de chalet, comprenant un canapé-lit escamotable (pour 2 personnes), une table basse en bord brut et une toute nouvelle Smart TV Samsung de 51 pouces. Un bureau est également disponible avec une chaise pour poser votre ordinateur portable et vous mettre au travail ou rechercher les activités de la semaine. La salle à manger comprend un lustre rustique éclairé à l'Edison avec un tout nouveau jeu de salle à manger en bois massif fabriqué localement, avec un banc qui peut accueillir 7 personnes au total. En fin de journée, retirez-vous dans le confort de nos chambres bien aménagées, où des nuits paisibles de sommeil réparateur vous attendent. Réveillez-vous frais et prêt à vous lancer dans une autre journée d'aventures ou profitez simplement de la tranquillité des environs. La chambre principale comprend deux fenêtres avec vue sur le lac, un lit king-size, des tables de chevet, un placard et une commode. La deuxième chambre offre une fenêtre avec vue sur le lever du soleil, un placard, une commode, un tiroir à jeux (avec jeu de poker) et un lit superposé simple sur double qui peut accueillir un total de 3 personnes. The cottage was advertised as pet friendly so we brought our dog. The second we got out of our truck the neighbor stomped over and told us that we need to have our dog on a leash at all times. Our dog is an old German Shepherd who has trouble walking and rarely leaves my side. My husband was angered by the abrupt intrusion which stressed me and my daughter out. The lakefront area is perfect for a bonfire night and enjoy the sound of water and falling leaves. The cottage is very clean and updated - you have everything for your kitchen, ample space for two small families. The owner is very prompt in his responses and helped us in sending back the items we left in the cottage. The property was spotless, recently updated with all the modern conveniences, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Although we didn’t use the many water toys due to the season, we’re already planning a summer trip to make the most of them. The hosts were outstanding—responsive and easy to communicate with. Spending time with amazing friends in such a beautiful setting made the trip even better. I highly recommend this property for a memorable stay! ##### Anabela M. The cottage is nicely furnished and decorated. The property is long but narrow, so the neighbours are closer than you'd expect in a cottage setting and you can hear their conversations when outside. Pet-friendly means dogs are allowed but must be on leash or tied up when outside and aren't permitted on the furniture. While not unreasonable, knowing this in advance may have influenced our decision to book, as we were travelling with 2 dogs. This was exacerbated by my failure to check (either because I didn't see it or it got unchecked through a form validation error) the Travelling with Pets checkbox. Thus I was not advised of these restrictions until check-in and the neighbour yelled at us as we were unloading the car and one of the dogs strayed onto her property, which is not separated by a fence. ##### Gary B. All you need to bring is your personal belongings and your groceries. Rooms were all tastefully decorated and all the appliances were new and up to date. Danielle was great had to call her a couple of times to ask questions and answered right away. Lake was warm enough to swim even in beginning of June. Loved that we could bring our fur baby with us. If you need groceries you will have to drive into town we didn't find anything close to us. Loved being close to Kingston and surrounding areas to go and do the bigger things and explore only 30 minutes drive. Danielle and Ivan had everything were needed and more. Beautiful cottage with stunning views and everything you need to make your trip memorable. We genuinely enjoyed every minute of our stay at the lake house ! Communication with Ivan was exceptional , directions for everything were very clear and easy to follow. The house was clean , mattresses very comfortable ( fold out couch surprisingly also very comfortable!). The kitchen had all the necessities for making family meals. Our favorite part was the lake and the abundance of water toys! We used the kayaks, SUP, and the pedal boat every day! The sunsets at the lake are even more magical than in the photos.
