"Beautiful view of the beach and the pier. We were able to walk to anything that we needed; restaurants, bar, shopping, the beach. It was clean and stocked with all of the necessities. The balcony was our favorite hangout area. I drank my coffee on the balcony and just relaxed. The only negative would be that the balconies aren't completely private, you are very close to you neighbors, some with a small partition and some with no partition. "

"This is our go to place on the coast. The price is reasonable. The rooms are large and the water is hot "though it sometimes takes a bit to get hot." The lady at the front desk when we arrived was super nice. She checked us in quick and was able to get us the downstairs room we had requested. The place is right next to a convenient/liquor store. There are also many places to eat in walking distance. Both topdog and Rudie's coffee shops are just around the corner."

"Nice hotel in a perfect location. PROS: walking distance to restaurants, shopping and the pier (the pier is a bit of a walk, but still walkable). Easy access to the beach. Easy parking. Large room, comfortable bed. A/C and heater in living area, small wall heater in bedroom area. PLENTY of bath towels (my pet peeve is too few towels in a hotel room). Even though we didn't travel with a pet, there was a wonderful pet area, complete with washing station. CONS: a little tired on the inside (tile, woodwork and shutters). HORRIBLE pillows, to the point we had to purchase new ones after the first night. No bag for dirty clothes. Even though there was a small kitchenette (fridge, microwave, coffeemaker and sink) there was no paper towels or kitchen-type towels. Suggestions: purchase new pillows, add paper towels to kitchen area and supply bags for dirty laundry. With all of this being said, we will definitely stay here when in Cayucos, we'll just bring our own pillows."
