"Although I appreciated all of the amenities this motel provided (pool with hot tub, free breakfast, laundry facilities, 24-7 coffee and tea, good location) the most outstanding and valuable feature of my stay was the staff! I was in Gettysburg for a very stressful reason, and the reception staff were so caring and thoughtful - whether I was coming or going or needed something, they were always there, ready to help. As a solo, older woman traveler, I felt they watched out for me. I observed them working together with the maintenance team, who also came to my aid and went above and beyond. After a little over a week long stay, the Super 8 felt like home and the staff felt like friends. I appreciated that very much and will stay there again if I'm ever in the area."

"We really loved our stay there. The inn has a lot of character and charm. The breakfast was well worth the price as it was delicious! The staff were very friendly and answered all of our questions. I would highly recommend if you’re looking for a quaint old inn to stay at. Thanks to all the staff there for making our stay enjoyable and memorable 💜"

"I had a last-minute need for a four day stay in Gettysburg for a conference. This establishment came close to my budget. The facility is a former Econo-Lodge and it is a bit dated. Having said that, it is obvious that the owners are very particular on keeping the rooms clean and presentable. My room was clean, the bed linens clean and crisp and the bathroom was also clean. I did use the air conditioner as the temps were in the 80's. The compressor made a loud noise upon start each time, so I did not use it at night, but it really wasn't needed. They do collect a security deposit for incidental damage upon check-in, I was concerned about it, but it was refunded back onto my credit card a couple of hours after my departure."
