Our stay at Swope Manor was wonderful. Swope Manor was very clean and well maintained. The staff was very accommodating. This Bed and Breakfast was in a great location for exploring the town.

We stayed here twice this past month and both times were very enjoyable. It is convenient to shops and restaurants on the center of town. The Inn and rooms were nicely kept and clean. Breakfast was delicious. Expansive book collection in the library. Parking was included in the parking lot behind the Inn. We would definitely recommend.

This stately was my first time . Nothing bad reviews this is a beautiful home so relaxing . The bed was so comfortable I slept like a baby . We stayed in the Jacob room it was beautiful . Love the libarary where u can sit and read . Breakfast was delicious . Will be staying again . The room was super clean the owners staff is so he ful. They will give u a tour for the first time .

Our only issue was the temperature in our rooms. Apparently, a guest head managed to lower A. Thermostat to 64°,! However, there were plenty of warm linens on the beds, so we were comfortable and cozy.

I can’t say enough good things about this beautiful historic home. And I say “home” because it was once and the Inn Keepers and staff were so friendly and welcoming. I can’t wait to return and spend more time in Gettysburg and it is without question I will be staying here.

Dan and Heidi, the on-site managers went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Although we arrived early, they allowed us to check in and go to our room, which was large, bright and beautifully decorated. Our breakfasts were creative and very delicious. The common rooms on the ground floor are furnished in the period style and comfortable. The location is perfect for walking around the town. I highly recommend this B&B.
