"Staff was very helpful. We called to let them know we would be checking in later and we asked for a roll away bed and the front desk person was so helpful with our request. Breakfast on day one was good, but on day 2 the waffle batter was runny and the waffles did work correctly. It was near 10 am which was the end of the time when they had the breakfast area setup so we just had cereal but overall things were good."

"The Gettysburg Hotel is a great place to stay when you are in town. It is centrally located on the town center. The rooms are well appointed, comfortable while maintaining the historic flavor of the town. The restaurant and bar is excellent, located near the main lobby. It is a large hotel, but not too large. There is a convenient Starbucks also accessible from the main lobby. It might be a little pricey depending on the day(s) you stay there, but the location, cleanliness and appointments of the hotel are well above average. I give it a solid 9 out of 10."

"Perfect walkable location- the tour guides, were amazing. The ghost walk and investigation in the basement and Jennie Wade birthplace were great- really knew their history and ghosts (something we do a LOT of so impressing us isn’t easy. Would most certainly stay here on all our future visits. Two things to note- no room fridge- we stopped at walmart and got a small cheap cooler, bag of ice, and there was an ice machine on property. No toiletries in our room if you forgot something."

"The room was super clean and the staff was friendly. The property was dated and could use some outside maintenance- inside was fine. Great price, close enough drive- we just stayed one night for an event. Outside entrances were a little sketchy in the dark at night."

"The indoor pool was warm and lovely, no hot tub. Very nice room, good breakfast. Free parking. Needs to review safety items as fire extinguisher cases were functioning but broken doors, and location map near first floor elevator had been scraped off the sign."

"Alot of little un clean things. Stained towels, weird powder on carpet, weird dog hair or something hanging off the wall. Room was large and spacious, loved having a full refrigerator. Beds comfortable, but bring your own pillows. Staff insisted coming in our room to clean while we were there. Breakfast was not good. Sausage still frozen, everything was cold."
