The bed and breakfast was divine. We stayed in the castle suite, and it was beautifully decorated with knightly armor and a comfy king bed. There was fresh fruit waiting for us in the morning before a delicious breakfast. This charming old home was lovingly restored by the hostess, Amanda, who took the time to personally greet us and satisfy my curiosity with a tour of the house and it's history. The decor was carefully chosen to provide just the right welcoming and confortable feel for her guests. Big fluffy towels were provided and everything, including the dazzling Chandler's were sparklingly clean. Snacks, tea, coffee and water had been thoughtfully included. The room was quiet with a balcony overlooking the back garden, where I relaxed before bed, enjoying the sounds of crickets on this warm evening. Our hostess had recommended some local places for supper and a drink that were within walking distance which we enjoyed. Her breakfast was fresh and delicious, leaving us wishing we had room to squeeze in one more bite. She took the time to chat with us and make us feel like welcome guests in her home rather than customers. Each room has a private bath and my host Amanda was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was amazing, French toast, sausage, eggs and hash browns. The parking was much easier than I anticipated and the property was beautiful. The host was warm and inviting and gave us all kinds of great info about the history of the place and tips for things to do in town. She also made us an amazing breakfast. The house was gorgeous and the room was just the right balance of unique and comfortable. We had such a lovely time! Would definitely return!
