Short walk from/to train station! Hotel is in a fairly busy area, can walk to St Marks easily. Check in went well - a person checked us in. there was a lift so it was easy to go upstairs. room was larger than we expected, but not much space to move around with luggage. beds were good. bathroom was small but adequate - no issues, shower very small. problem with small light bulbs over the bed, they did not fix it well. friendliest person we met was the maid/cleaning lady, Aida. Folks at front desk were ok only. no food in this hotel - but many good restaurants nearby. Checkout was easy - a person again.

Our room was very clean & appeared to have been remodeled recently. Although a bit on the small side, the accommodations were comfortable & the staff very helpful. Breakfast was included & the location - near Uffizi - was ideal for walking to many dining options & areas of historical interest.

Disappointed in our room, when you see the photographs in the overview of the hotel on Expedia, the reality was very different. Getting around the hotel is challenging, with an elevator that only takes two people. On the positive side the view from the roof top terrace was stunning, great for an early evening drink and breakfast.

Very nice hotel. It has the best rooftop view of Florence, we enjoyed going up to the Empire rooftop bar for drinks while enjoying the sunset. Staff is excellent and rooms are clean and comfortable

My frustration was not being able to have coffee in my room no coffee maker because I was in room number 354 and an apple spritz is $35 so the two things that I enjoy those being on my vacation I could not have at this hotel on a daily basis

"Such a wonderful property! It was so clean and the standard room was larger in person than photos. Staff was friendly and the location was 10-15 min walk to the main downtown area. They had stunning views at the rooftop bar. Young and vibrant I would stay here again and recommend to anyone!"
