We did a 4 night stay on Sal Island and decided to splurge on a hotel. Yes, it was expensive but it really was fantastic. The on property pool is beautiful and has a restaurant right there serving good pizza and other food. There is also another restaurant a short walk away on the beach with a beautiful view of the ocean. The breakfast was fantastic and the room was big enough for a family of 3. The property is lovely surrounded by palm trees. The rooms are spacious. We liked that the various buildings of rooms were only 2 floors and each had a veranda. We were especially impressed with their buffets. Incredible variety of foods and very well prepared. The only thing it lacks from our perspective is a couple more a la carte restaurants. There is only one in the resort, the rest are buffets.
