"We enjoyed our stay a lot. The apartment comes with everything one might need. It even has a small sea view between the houses on the other side of the road and a garden in the back. The village is very friendly and clean and unlike the rest of the island green. You have a salt water pool for free use, a restaurant, a bar, a minimarket and a bath tub bay. You can see turtles and all kind of living things inside the sea."

"We were met at the airport and taken to our apartment. Really nice and airy, nicely decorated with good shower and comfortable bed and all the things you need to self cater. Brilliant double glazed window tilted so could be left open all day but when closed blocked out any noise. Right next to beach and with a nice garden with parasol to sit out in. Fruit/veg sellers came to just outside the apartment every morning and there is a brilliant bakery 10 minutes away and a stunning juice/snack...

"Fijne plek uit het centrum maar je loopt er zo naartoe. Het uitzicht heeft beperkt zeezicht, je zit ‘tweede rij’ wat ook prima is maar de foto lijkt volledig zicht op zee te geven. Het bed heeft een harde matras en kraakt als je omdraait. En het koffieapparaat is voor 1 klein kopje. De lucht de zee en zon maken daarentegen veel goed."

"We’ve spent 4 nights in the Tropical Resort. Everything was perfect. The apartment very clean and equipped with everything. The resort it’s 5 minutes away from the beach and 10 minutes away from the center, giving a peaceful and quiet environment. We’ve had some arrival and departure problems and Roger and Philip did everything to help us. I recommend a 100% this resort."

"Very good location, inside a Melia beautiful resort. Possible to use swimming pools and beach. Excellent wi-fi . Kitchen very well equipped. They cleaned the room at half staying. Just portuguise TV . ( For CNN and SKY listening didn' work). I suggest to explain how the safe works ( it's only in portuguise) and that air-conditioning works with a timer next to the front door, not simply with the remote control."

"Het appartement staat op een mooie locatie met een prachtig balkon met uitzicht over zee. Verder is het ruim genoeg en heeft een goed werkende badkamer met douche. Punten die wel echt aandacht verdienen: - de bedden zijn ronduit slecht. Kapotte lattenbodems, slechte versleten matrassen (keihard met veren of doorgelegen) en de bedden kraken enorm bij elke kleine beweging. - de wifi zou inclusief zijn, echter na 4 dagen werkte het niet meer en moesten we extra Gb's bijkopen(niet goedkoop) - de TV...

"Without a doubt, one of the best holidays we’ve had. We travelled as a group of friends with children 2 to 18 years old, and there was truly something for everyone. The hotel exceeded our expectations. It was huge and full of activities that after a full week, we still hadn’t explored it all! The buffet restaurants were outstanding. The variety and quality of food were impressive, and the service was exceptional. A special mention must go to one of the waitresses, 'Miraculous', who was incredibly kind and patient with our lively group of children. Her warm and friendly nature made our visits a pleasure. The pools were consistently clean, and the variety from kids’ pools to more relaxing area meant we always had something to enjoy. One day, during a temporary power outage, the slides at the water park weren’t working, but the lifeguard kept the kids entertained, which was appreciated. The beach was breathtaking clean, beautiful, and easily accessible. The facilities nearby were convenient, and even the vendors offering excursions were great to deal with. 'Victor', in particular, was friendly, helpful, and never pushy. 'Jose' from VIP Guest Services also deserves recognition. Despite us not being VIP clients, he was incredibly attentive and helpful throughout our stay. The only slight disappointment was with restaurants we booked. Unfortunately, the staff there were quite rude and the food didn’t meet the same standards as the buffet. Was still a 10/10 holiday however!"

"The rooms were very clean and the beds very comfortable. There is a nice walk along the promenade to Santa Maria which takes about 10-15 minutes. The staff are very friendly and work tirelessly entertaining the guests. The food is tasty and presented nicely. I'd definitely recommend the cocktails"

"Not aesthetically all that, but very clean and comfortable and very central to every where you’d want to go. The staff are the most amazing people I’ve come across. I had a casual chat with Kipsa( I hope I spelt it well ) and mentioned it was my birthday. He got the kitchen to make me a birthday cake which made my day and made me feel at home. Would 100% recommend "
