"Had a comfortable couple of nights whilst my boiler was out of action. Clean, well appointed single room with modern en-suite bathroom. Slept very well. A nice old traditional hotel, some areas are a little worn / dated, but I understand looking after a property of this size and age is no small undertaking. "Gorgeous hotel. Room was just perfect, whoever designed it knew exactly what they were going. Lighting, sockets, decoration, bathroom, furniture - all perfect. Even 2 comfortable chairs, that hardly ever happens in a hotel room, there’s normally just 1\. Reception staff helpful and polite. Breakfast was excellent, varied choice and plentiful portions."
