"We stayed for a one night getaway and it was absolutely perfect! The setting is so quiet and peaceful and private. Woke up to beautiful bird sounds and parrots flying overhead. Enjoyed our coffee on the porch while it rained! Wonderful luxury down pillows and bedding and bathroom was great as well! Christelle was so kind and welcomed us in and showed us to our cabana! Wonderful setting. Highly recommend! :)"

Staff (Larry, Elvin, David, et al.) were incredibly friendly, food was amazing, the property was beautiful and entertaining on its own, with the plants and wildlife. We had a wonderful stay.

We spent 5 days at Cohune Palms. The property is natural and had resident agouti. We saw huge iguana, toucan, agouti and were lucky enough to see the kinkajou right from the dining area. We were in The hummingbird cabana. They have added stairs up to the loft with 2 single beds. It made the main room a bit squishy but were able to store luggage upstairs. The bathroom was huge with wonderful shower. Lots of hot water with good pressure. Mike snd the staff were friendly and always available....

Excellent retreat out of the way. The bed was a bit hard, staff was great. Food was good, the only thing i could say needed upgrade was the wifi. Only in the common bar area and not very good.

I had a spacious room on the second floor, booked 4 nights Sunday to Thursday end of March 2023. Burns avenue was not busy, very quiet, lots of restaurants were not open Sunday and Monday. Very easy to book excursions for Tikal and the Caves directly on Burns Avenue, I recommend booking with Sergio at Explore Inland Tours. Hotel is walking distance from Green Iguana Conservation Project, the chocolate workshop and Maya ruins Cahal Pech (to of the hill).
Staff very friendly, pool is always clean...

Situated high up on a hillside at the edge of San Ignacio, the Cahal Pech Village Resort offers stunning views out across San Ignacio and the surrounding area. The resort is also only about a 3 minute walk to the Cahal Pech Archaeological Reserve, containing local Mayan ruins well worth visiting. The cabanas are airy and very comfortable.

My room with a thatched roof was cozy and comfortable. Lots of hot water in the shower! Staff very friendly and helpful. I ate in dining room a couple times. Food and service excellent! Within walking distance to food stores, bank, some restaurants. Look forward to staying here again.

We had a nice 3 night stay! Quiet! Fine food in their restaurant! Very friendly and helpful staff and owners! Nice warm showers! They need to run hot water to the sink, but not unusual in tropics for only tepid water at bathroom sink.

Crystal Palace met all our expectations. The staff went out of their way to keep you smiling. I would definitely go back and visit. The only thing that would have made our stay more enjoyable was having a better road to travel to get there. However, once we were there I hated to leave.

We had an amazing experience staying here. It was close to the shuttle bus, market, restaurants. Having a kitchen made it easier to pack food for next day.
Our host was very very helpful! She suggested local restaurant to try and helped us to find a last minute replacement tour early morning as our got cancelled late at night! We were able to leave our luggages there while we went to a half day tour, even after check out time. I highly recommend staying here!

my friends and I had a great experience staying here - so much so we extended another night. The hotel location couldn't be better, the wifi worked great, room was clean and had the option of A/C, and the staff were very friendly. Especially Christian on the front desk who helped my friends plan a little birthday surprise for me!
Would definitely recommend staying here if you're in San Ignacio, great value for money!!

Excellent hotel. Close to everything without being in the middle of it. Five minute walk over cute bridge to downtown. Many eating options around the hotel. Laundry service on site, which is great while traveling. The bed was comfortable and quiet.
