"We had a wonderful experience at the Gainsborough Bath Spa hotel during a short visit to town. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We had a couples massage during our stay and the spa in the hotel is top notch. The room was gorgeous with high ceilings and a nice separation of spaces. The nightly turndown service was unexpected and appreciated. We pretty much loved everything about this place!"

"Nice modern hotel walking distance from historical center, restaurants and train station. Good breakfast for extra 15 pounds with choice of main dish and some buffet. Enjoyable swimming pool. Helpful staff. Excellent value for money."

"In house restaurant food was fantastic! Staff very nice. Polite and helpful. Quiet rooms despite big tourist groups staying at the hotel. Perfect location right in the city centre. No free disabled parking bays however there were two disabled bays in front of the hotel but these are not bookable. There is a NCP car park beneath the hotel which costs £50.00 for the weekend. We requested a room with twin beds and was given an ‘accessible’ room to accommodate wheelchair users which didn’t apply in our case. The downside to this was the bathroom sink was very low done as was the loo and loo roll holder. Would highly recommend. Not cheap but worth it. "

"Overall is a very best hotel but the receptionists might need to work more professional and faster. Spent more than 40 mins in the queue to check out. Yet, the rest of stay were very good with polite staffs from restaurant and good cleaner with well manner. Despite the reception, this hotel is still highly recommended. "

"was a little worried after reading some reviews.but all the facilitiesi used were excellent. check was nice and quick,great bar area and prices were ok for a hotel, really well located for bars and restaurants.Room was excellent very large and cumfy bed and good pillows and good coffee machine shower room was large good towels and all very clean. will stay here again on my next visit "

"Hands down the best hotel I've ever stayed in. Gorgeous rooms, friendly and helpful staff, impeccably clean and comfortable. The spa was excellent and the rooms felt grand. I got room service twice and enjoyed it thoroughly. I was upgraded to a deluxe room upon arrival and it was perfect. The complimentary fin and tonic was a lovely touch. I will definitely be booking with you again soon. "
