I have given this rating as when we arrived the lift was broken and continued to be out of use up to us leaving. My husband has some mobility issues so this was a problem for us but we were told on arrival it would be fixed that day which didn’t happen. The receptionist checking us in initially offered help with the bags but said as we were only on the second floor the lift being out shouldn’t affect us which I found unacceptable. The room wasn’t the cleanest as there was hair in the bedding, the bathroom sink was blocked and slow draining which we reported but it wasn’t fixed and when moving the refreshment tray to nearer the kettle the underneath was filthy. There was also stale water left in the kettle from the previous occupier. Everywhere was a little dusty too and the windows were filthy. Not the level of cleanliness or service you expect from this price of hotel.
