Braemar Park - Bel Air Heights - Copeland Park Vacation Packages

This was a special trip for my husband and I as it was only the second time we have even gone away as just mom and dad since having our daughter two years ago. reStays in Ottawa did not disappoint. We easily found the parking garage connected to the hotel which was so convenient. Checking in was a breeze. Every single person who works at the front desk is immensely kind and helpful. We got to our room and I was confused because it wasn't what I had booked. Renee (I think that was her name, she was so sweet and wonderful) called our room to let me know they had upgraded us to their one bedroom penthouse for our special occasion!! Our jaws were on the ground. We could not believe the incredible hospitality they showed us. This was exactly what we needed to unwind and reconnect. The room had everything you could ever need - washer and dryer (they even supply laundry pods), espresso maker, dishwasher, oven, etc. It was the perfect place for a getaway. The air conditioning worked great! The private terrace was so lovely and perfect for enjoying the last of the sun's rays in the evening. I'm a bit of a sound freak and it was so quiet in the room especially at night which is what matters most to me. This hotel was walking distance to so many places to eat and places to visit. We absolutely loved our stay here and I would highly recommend reStays to everyone. Even without the incredibly generous upgrade, we would still return to this hotel if we ever come back to Ottawa.

Les Suites is located in a very central area, steps away from everything, really. Unfortunately, this also means that it is surrounded by vagrants, garbage, broken glass on sidewalks, and a lot of noise from nighttime drag racing and parties. There were also parties happening on our floor itself, well into the wee hours of the morning. Our suite was on the 17th floor. Perhaps newer windows could mitigate outside noise? We were also happy to be able to bring our dog along with us. Air conditioning was convenient and easy to regulate; the suite was large and comfortable. However, the pullout couch mattress was very thin. Our son ended up sleeping on the closed couch. Not ideal, but luckily we were only there for two nights. The first night there were only two bath towels, despite the reservation for three guests. There was a half used moisturizer on the vanity and no bar soap. Upon request, I was told that they had run out. We had to use shower gel to wash our hands and the next day went out to buy some. Similarily, the kitchen had no paper towel, dish towel or sponge on arrival. We ended up having to purchase paper towel and sponge the next day. A dish towel was provided by housekeeping the next day. We were lucky to be able to use the exercise room and pool. Very fun, though towels were pretty old and rough. All in all, an average stay for the price. If we come back, we'll bring an air mattress, pool towels, ear plugs and basic kitchen supplies.

I love this place. The beds are so comfortable and the environment is soothing.

Everything was as expected. Great location and lots of room.
