"I felt very bad for the staff at this motel, the main reason I booked there was I had my 10 year old grandson with me who was excited about the pool. When we checked in we were told the pool was closed indefinitely. Never posted on the website!!! We were asked if we wanted a refund but I was there on business and had limited time to rebook a hotel. The room was clean and staff was very nice. "

"The hotel was absolutely lovely. The best parts of a hotel (privacy) and a Bed and Breakfast (personal touches) rolled into one location. The staff is extremely responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again. Some areas are definitely ready for a refresh but they do not detract from the overall experience. "

"This hotel is in a historic building, built in 1904, which was interesting, but you need to be prepared for what that entails. It took forever to heat our room, the windows were quite drafty, there were lots of noises (creaks, bumps, street noise) but for a 2 night stay, it served it's purpose."

"We came into town for a Sabres game. The hotel staff was excellent and they even provided a shuttle to Key Bank Center for the match. The morning breakfast was very good with made to order omelets that were delicious. I would definitely stay here again. My only pet peeve was that the room safe was inoperable and that should have been ready if the room was made available."
