Nestled between three sparkling lakes, this northern woodland town invites you to snap photos with the iconic Paul Bunyan statue. Paddle pristine waters in summer or ice fish in winter, then warm up at local breweries where flannel-clad locals share their favourite hiking trails.
This was our second trip to Leech Lake and we enjoyed it as much as the first one. Gary and Sandra are excellent hosts. Great space, great conversations, great experience. Always very clean, always a great breakfast, like the extra touches, snacks on hand, complimentary beverages when we arrived. Very relaxing, nice linens. Will be coming back again soon.

Our stay here was wonderful. A peaceful area, a great room, and great staff. Highly suggest a stay here. My only thing is that the water felt very soft, so be ready for that if you're not used to it.

It is very bright at night with the big window. One window has drapes the other one did not.
The shower curtain did not reach the bottom so the floor in the bathroom was soaked every time we showered, needs some attention.
Room was lovely and great location. Walk to shops and restaurants and the lake.

Having morning coffee on the dock was exactly what I needed on my vacation. :)
The room was clean and everything worked as it should.
I was not a fan of where the check in was done, in the lounge where it was pretty loud.
There was not many options for gluten free which I think all hotels could do better. Also, having smoking access on the rooftop bar area would be a great idea.
Overall it was a beautiful location and I would recommend it.

The hotel is very well located for travel with a pet, or with children, for that matter, It is right amid a large city park, with a playset and skate park and lots of other amenities and trails, all just outside the door. The breakfast was also good. I was sad that the pool was closed for maintenance.
