"Every detail of our stay here was excellent. This cabin has everything you need for a great vacation on Round Lake. Everything in the cabin was so thought out. Our communication with Judy was excellent! We cannot wait to come back again!"

"We booked a 4 day stay for 2 adults and one dog. We were planning to leave our other dog with a sitter, but the sitter didn't work out. The owners were wonderful, and said it was ok to bring him since we already paid the pet fee. The beds were comfy and the sheets were really lux! The 2 bedrooms with queen beds had a lot of room for our stuff, as did the small bathroom. The dogs loved the sunbeams coming through the patio doors. . The lake was quiet, we only saw one boat the whole time. Close enough to town to do a run if needed. There must have been some sort of construction going on, lots of trucks hauling things on the road. I haven't seen that in other reviews, so probably temporary. We hope to stay again sometime. Don't forget to bring your own coffee!"

"The positive: They mow the lawns and have irrigation to keep the landscape looking good. Yes, that is the only positive. The negatives: The room smelled like musty wet carpet. The carpet was so disgusting it made you want to keep your shoes on. If you lock your key in the room you better do it during office hours, or you will sleeping in your truck for the night. No emergency # on the door. I wanted to check out before 8am, apparently you can’t. No key drop, or other way to checkout before a human arrives. On site restaurant: I had the smothered chicken, one breast was ok, the other tasted like I was chewing on a raw breast, it was impossible to chew it was so rubbery. The bartender eventually asked how everything was, after I was sitting there finished for 10 minutes (I sat at the bar). I told him about the breast and he stated “really, it’s usually one of the best on the menu” ,rung up my ticket and handed it to me. The actual server who took my order apparently dislikes his job, had no personality and never came back to see how the meal was. Onto the worse of the worse, the boat ramp, if you want to call it that, was without exaggeration at a 45 degree angle once your trailer hit the water. I was told they just fixed it!! Never have I experienced this, nor would I have used it if they would have let me know prior to backing in. I seriously think it tweaked my trailer. There is so much more and more details that could be provided, but only 1500 characters are allowed."

"This is an older hotel, clean and mostly in good repair. The rooms are large, and have full-sized refrigerators...a welcome change from the "mini refrigerators" that cannot hold a 12 pack. Some rooms have a nice view of a lake, there is a dock and benches to sit and watch the view. Staff is on site and friendly; it seems to be family-owned...we liked the chance to help local people. Lots of parking and close to anything one might need. We would not hesitate to stay there again."

"This was an amazing location! The plethora of amenities in terms of dishware, cookware, towels and other necessities was so convenient. We were up visiting our adult children and this house provided us with enough space to do meals with 9 adults. Best mini vacation ever!!!"
