The back window looks out at a forest of pine, where we saw a large flock of wild turkeys one morning. Basically right next to the north entrance of Itasca State Park where we spent our time. After a long day of exploring & hiking, we looked forward to relaxing back at our room, sleeping in comfortable beds with A/C & running water. To us it was the best way to go “camping”. There is an ice cream/gift shop next door to our unit where we treated ourselves to ice cream cones. And across the street is a general store/gas station if you need to purchase convenience items. The place is quiet, clean, new, and very comfortable to stay at. They have nice beds and the towels were soft and fluffy.
