"Nice view. Ideal location for public transport and walking. Historic building so very unique. Internet available. Clean rooms. Elevators. Overall very nice experience. Fair warning- we booked a nicer room and when we showed up we were put in a lower room. MotelOne said that the room matches the reservation information given to them by Expedia. The photos didn’t match the room we were in and due to the logistics of things, MotelOne couldn’t move us to the room we believe we booked because only 1 of those rooms existed, but gave us some drink vouchers and helped us get what we needed from Expedia. Expedia support wasn’t very helpful and just gave us $50 in Expedia credit after having to pull teeth for it. I believe that Expedia put the wrong photos to the wrong rooms, but it ended with MotelOne and Expedia pointing fingers at one another."

"This was an absolutely unacceptable experience, and the hotel’s behavior was by far the worst part of it. I had to cancel my trip because of the war in the Middle East—something serious, dangerous, and completely outside of my control. Any reasonable business would show basic understanding in that situation. This hotel did the exact opposite. They flat-out refused to refund anything or offer even the smallest accommodation. No credit, no rescheduling, nothing. Just a cold, scripted response hiding behind “policy” with zero regard for safety or common sense. It honestly felt like they cared more about keeping my money than about treating customers fairly during a real-world crisis. While Expedia was also unhelpful and simply echoed the hotel’s stance, the hotel itself was the main problem. Their attitude was rigid, dismissive, and frankly greedy. Hospitality is supposed to involve at least some level of empathy—this place showed none. If this is how they treat customers during serious global events, I can’t imagine how they handle everyday issues. I would strongly warn anyone considering this hotel: book at your own risk, because if anything goes wrong, don’t expect fairness, understanding, or even basic decency—you will likely just lose your money. "

"Our room was a twin Executive which was warm and inviting. Linen and toiletries were of a high standard. The executive dining floor was excellent. A plentiful buffet at breakfast and a much appreciated ‘happy hour’ in the evenings with nibbles and alcoholic drinks. The staff were helpful and very pleasant. A good location next to the CAT train direct from the airport. All in all a very good choice of hotel for us on our first visit to Vienna. Thank you."
