I had an absolutely amazing stay at Leo Grand and strongly recommend anyone who's looking to explore Vienna to stay there for it's location, building's history, rooms' palace like interior, excellent attentive staff, and cleanliness.
Vienna was the last part of my 1 month long European vacation and by the time I got to Vienna I was ready to go back home. I stayed for about 6 days and didn't want to leave after. The hotel is at the center of inner stad -I was looking at the St. Stephen's cathedral from my room. The subway station is only about 10 yards away yet the hotel is secluded enough that it's very quiet inside the hotel.
It's common in EU for restaurants to close pretty early but because of it's location I was able to find food and drinks even past 11 pm in the near vicinity of the hotel.
The staff was absolutely amazing! They were very attentive, respectful, and did above and beyond to make sure I enjoyed my stay. Everyone speaks fluent english if that's a concern for you. I had breakfast at the restaurant and was very pleased.
Lastly, the rooms are designed like mini palaces. Tall ceilings with wallpapers, carpets etc that have medieval style with fireplace and candles made me feel like a queen every time I walked into my room.
Next time I go to Vienna I will definitely stay at Leo Grand.
