"The homeowner very courteously met us at the train station and escorted us to the house. The house itself is a wonderful, nicely appointed traditional Japanese home, and quite spacious with a great kitchen and modern bathroom. It's an easy walk to the beach and to the train station, and there are plenty of restaurants in the area to choose from. Ito is only one stop away on the train, with many more restaurants, and Atami is fairly close as well. Very clean. Highly recommended. "

Just a few things we noticed could've helped with our stay~an iron/ironing board, a cork screw opener (for a bottle of wine), hangers for hanging clothes in the closet, and paper towels for the kitchen or kitchen towel for wiping table/dishes, etc... "Nice hotel, room is small, not as big as it looks in the photos, the toilet area is tiny. Beds were big and comfortable though, we had the twin room, very quiet in the evening. We were on HB, breakfast and dinner were lovely, plenty of food, tasty. Private in-room hot spring was really good for us, as we were conscious about using the public one. The location is little bit out of the main towns but I would stay here again."
