"It is a beautiful place, not fancy but fancy is nit what you are looking for in the mountains."

"DON'T BE FOOLED! We spent extra on this property thinking that we could use the sauna and hot tub. Please know that these are separate amenities that require a booking. They cost hundreds of dollars per hour extra. And even worse, there weren't even any appointments available during our stay. The restaurant was great. The young woman running the front desk, the cafe, and serving on the restaurant must put in 100 hours a week! She was pleasant. Our accommodations were amazing. All in all I would totally stay here again, but I definitely would not spend what I did thinking that I would have access to the sauna and hot tubs. I understand their business model, but a suggestion would be to open the last hour or first hour of the day for guests of the hotel -included. "

"Great place right outside Mt. Rainier National Park. Very friendly staff; big, clean rooms; super convenient. Our family of six had two rooms and we were very comfortable and pleased with our stay. "

"Originally when we walked in the place it had a very strong vinegar smell. We opened the windows and after a few hours the smell was gone. I know some people clean with a vinegar mix, a less chemical approach, so it wasn't too big of a deal for us. The place was nice. Clean all around. Had all the necessary stuff for cooking and morning coffee. They also had coffee grinds in case you forgot your own. They pretty much thought of everything. Plenty of towels and rags. Had robes and slippers for the hot tub. The couch wasn't the most comfy but we didn't plan on staying inside. Only issue we had was the shower drain. It drained slow. So I almost felt like I had to rush so we didn't over flow. And the longer shower curtain was drowning in the 'soup'. As for outside patio. It's perfect. Spacious. Not much of a view due to the marsh and privacy screen. but was still nice and private. Enjoyed our morning coffees and dinner outside. The hot tub was clean but don't think all the jets worked. Still we enjoyed it. We experienced some road noise but it was a beautiful weekend and everyone was out enjoying it. A small list of some minor TLC maintenance items could be done, that my partner noticed (maintenance background), he notices things like that... but overall still a great visit and we enjoyed our stay. "

"We were very disappointed. We stayed for 2 nights which we could not fully enjoy due to numerous issues. First, the heating was not working when we arrived. It took 5 hours after contacting the host to get it working. The next day, we tried using the hot tub and it was very dirty and clearly hadn't been properly cleaned. We got out to take a shower, and then realized the hot water also wasn't working. The host contacted maintenance, but wasn't sure they would come. Thankfully, it was fixed after 2 hours and we were able to clean off from being in the dirty hot tub. Finally, there was also a power outage which lasted 6 hours making it difficult to enjoy our final night."
