Rooms in Seaview Tower in desperate need of updating. Shower very small and floor slippery. No handle bars. Not one single amenity in room! Housekeeping was very good. The outdoor surroundings are nice but need more shading. Casino has changed to 99% slots. However, I believe not owned by the Holliday Inn. All restaurants are overpriced with small portions and so-so; however many dining options right outside. Check in … always a long wait!" We love the beach and the beach chairs! The bars and restaurants are wonderful. The only thing I wish we could change is that it is close to a water treatment plant and it can smell from time to time. Other than that, it’s a wonderful place. We will likely return. The staff however, specifically the bartenders were extremely un friendly and rude, you could tell they did not want to be there and all of the guests were nothing but annoyance's to them. We would not go back or recommend the Divi to anyone and would not stay there again because of how rude they were. Our room was clean , spacious, and modern with comfortable beds. I do wish I could have got a room that faced South, east, or west for more light exposure but overall it was still very nice . I had a nice view of the pool. The food and drinks were good .Everyone enjoyed their meals including my picky teens . The fountain water and ice was also good. They had a really nice breakfast buffet with plenty of options. The free dessert wasn’t great but that’s ok. The pool was beautiful, I especially enjoyed the lounging chairs in the water. The evening entertainment (steel drum players ,singers)was enjoyable too. The resort was in a good location, pretty close to Palm beach (5-7 min walk or the hotel will give you a ride), butterfly farm , and the palm beach strip with a huge variety of restaurants and bars. All the staff were helpful and professional but I’d like to thank Rosie for being so kind to me and my daughter who’s on the autism spectrum. She was struggling (having a meltdown)during breakfast and Rosie offered to accommodate us when needed. It was good to know that people are understanding and not judgmental. The only complaint was I waited past 4pm to be checked in but the positives outweigh that, it was about a 20 minute wait. I would definitely stay here again. It was great for our family. We miss it already."
