"We spent a night here while attending a graduation at Liberty. Everything was fantastic. The rennovations are top notch, the proximity to everythhing was graet. Beds were comfy and we had a fantastic time. Definitely will stay here again when going back to Liberty events!"

We cooked many of our meals, so this was appreciated (there's a limited number of restaurants in the area, but we like to cook). Communication with the owner was very easy and good."

Not sure if they were communicated to Jennifer directly or just left in the review, but l addressed them in an email to her and she was very responsive so l hope they will be corrected for future renters. But these were just minor irritations compared to how wonderful this house was for our group. The location was great. Granted you would not walk to the slopes with all of your gear, etc...

However with an 1850's home, there are some aspects that may not be what you're used to, especially the bathroom facilities. They were OK, but a renovation in that area would be welcome. "This year’s gathering of our ever growing tribe of children, grands and canine landed us as close to the Heavens as possible. This property was perfectly set up for sleeping arrangements, meal sharing, dog convenience and activities for all ages… the climbing wall was especially popular with our young gymnast and the free-standing video arcade was nostalgically fun for all ages. Of course, being March, the hot tub and sauna got used quite a bit too. The ultimate lure of this property...

"Oh, my goodness - our bungalow in Appomattox was the most pleasing VRBO we have ever rented! Charming to the max, spotlessly clean, comfortable, inviting, well-furnished, relaxing, and restful. Every detail was tended to. It was the kind of place that makes one want to stay much longer. Particularly nice were the rocking chairs and swing on the front porch...idyllic. Perfect for our morning cups of coffee. Our host, Susan, was wonderful from the get-go, and responded very quickly to my inquiry...

The initial drive to the property off the main road seemed a never-ending series of hills, twists and turns, especially for folks from the city. But, in fact, the trip in/out was only about five minutes. The property itself was great. A two bedroom, one bath on the lower level of a lovely private home. The house is on a hill so we could drive right to our entrance in back. The unit is all on one floor with no steps...

"We traveled here with 6 adults and 3 children and had a wonderful time! The cottage is in a beautiful location and close enough to get to stores and restaurants. It’s incredibly clean, well-appointed and perfect for big groups. The owners are very friendly. We enjoyed exploring outside and playing games with the kids. There are also lots of hiking options nearby. We were there for a wedding but we would definitely come back!"

"We were 6 adults .. wide range of ages. Each of us was most pleased with the house and gracious amenities. House was lovely, welcoming, sparklingly clean with comfortable beds, good showers, fully stocked kitchen supplies with surprising extras. (Bedrooms were one flight up and a room with a futon and full bath one flight down from main level.) Been in Vrbo, b&b and airb&b places .. Breezewood is set as my gold standard! We’d stay again in a heart beat!"

The house was clean, welcoming, and the communication with owner was great. Check-in/check-out was a breeze. The home is on a very quiet street which was nice. "Last minute stay for a family funeral. Worked for our needs. Rooms were nice & beds comfortable. Some of the furniture in living area could use an upgrade. Everything was usable. The fridge has no shelves on the door & missing some in the freezer as well. Limited on space for groceries if staying longer. Note that it is not as close to anything as the description & map implies (not an 8 minute walk to McDonalds). I liked the peacocks that wandered and the other animals. This house is a...

"We had a wonderful time enjoying this cabin with our family. My kids 10 and 7 LOVED the pool and hot tub along with the fact they had their own space to hang out and play in the basement. It was a very relaxing few days and was truly an oasis."
