"I booked this place for college for a weekend at LU (Liberty) I have stayed at many VRBO’s. This was by far the best I have ever experienced. The home was fantastic, clean and the hosts super responsive! When we initially arrived our door code did not work. Within less than 5 minutes they had the code fixed. I have never had that kind of response from a host. I will absolutely book with this host again!"

"Myself, along with my son and daughter-in-law, were in VA for a family wedding. The initial drive to the property off the main road seemed a never-ending series of hills, twists and turns, especially for folks from the city. But, in fact, the trip in/out was only about five minutes. The property itself was great. A two bedroom, one bath on the lower level of a lovely private home. The house is on a hill so we could drive right to our entrance in back. The unit is all on one floor with no steps...

"My family and I had a great time at this property with the air hockey, dart board, firepit, & hot tub. The kitchen was well-stocked with non-stick cookware, having everything one might need to cook. We cooked many of our meals, so this was appreciated (there's a limited number of restaurants in the area, but we like to cook). Communication with the owner was very easy and good."

"Very clean and accommodating. Inside is beautiful and comfortable. We enjoyed the older charm of the house. The door lock is complicated. I never did fully figure it out and had difficulty every time. Hurt my manliness, lol. The sofa bed sheet did not fit and had to make due until the next day when sheets that fit were provided. We indicated in the reservation that we had 9 guests. But there were towels for 6. We had to make due until more towels were provided the next day. None of these things...

Excellent communication with the owner who was welcoming and supportive throughout the stay. "Very, very clean house with everything you need to cook including a Thermador stove. Restaurants are steps away and include Sushi, Pizza, Greek and Bar food. Beds are very comfortable and bedding is lovely patterns. Dog friendly home with fenced in yard in back. Close to VMI and Washington and Lee universities."

"Such a lovely and cozy house. We were in town to visit our college student and this housed all of us perfectly! The kitchen is fully stocked making meal preparation easy. With 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, there was room for everybody. The beds were all comfortable and the reclining sofas & chair were relaxing after a day of hiking! Plenty of good movies on hand (or bring your own) plus enough channels available if you’re in the mood for some tv watching! Board games & cards are also on hand....

"IT WAS VERY CLEAN, IT HAD ALL THE NECESSITIES FOR A COUPLE WHO LIKES TO EAT OUT FOR EVERY MEAL, I PREFER A FULL KITCHEN. BUT IT SERVED ITS PURPOSE FOR 2 DAYS, A SHORT STAY, NICE NEW TV, VERY SMALL SPACE BUT SUFFICIENT, STUDIO STYLE, NICE HOST, LIVES ON SITE. VERY QUIET, WITH OUR LARGE FAMILY WE NEED MORE SPACE, BUT IT WAS GREAT FOR A TINY STAY. VERY EFFICIENT. WE WERE HAPPY! I LIKED ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS , THE KEURIG NEEDED INSTRUCTIONS, SO I WROTE THOSE DOWN FOR HIM. NEEDED A FEW MORE DISPOSABLE...

"This was such a peaceful, perfect location with an incredible view up on the mountain! It was like an escape from the real world and felt so refreshing. My gaming-obsessed 12 year old son said he would give up games if we could move there 😂 The hosts were great and very responsive and we had no issues with anything. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The first night we were there we made tinfoil dinners on the campfire and then s'mores afterwards. The stars are amazing outside of the city...
