Victorian comfort
The mansion was a lovely place to stay and we enjoyed a long weekend in comfort. The house is big so larger groups can really spread-out here. There are stain glass windows through out for that elegant touch. The car port was a help as it was raining a lot our weekend there. The kitchen appliances were all new and there were lots of pots, pan, etc... if you were going to cook. The formal dinning room was a nice place to eat breakfast each morning. I especially loved the hi-fi and selection of records to fill the first floor with music. The living room had lots of seating, a huge TV and a crazy beanbag like chair. My husband said it was great for his back. Upstairs are 3 nice size bedrooms with 2 very high beds. Mattresses were comfortable and we both slept great. I would recommend some additional blankets, unless they were in a closet and I missed them. The beds are on the high side due to the frame. A step stool would help getting into them. The alarm clocks in each room had outlet and USB charging ports. The shower is huge, not just depth but height as well. Love the sink faucet, lots of water flow. Really a great place to stay and we hope to return next year for our annual train watching trip.

A wonderful stay for two of us. Many thoughtful extras, very comfortable, tall, beds in two rooms. One bathroom was fine for us.

Historic Altoona
Neat and clean historic home, with some modern tech, with lots of charm. Property managers were friendly and helpful. A camera was located inside the kitchen over the fridge. Renovation needed to the outside of the property and many tripping hazards under carport and walkway to porch. Home located beside a busy intersection and can hear the noisy traffic inside the home.

Nice house
We rented the house because of bringing my grandchildren to a Penn State game. The house is amazing inside. Amenities are as advertised. The only negative is the noise from street. Still better than hotel and will definitely stay there again.

Beautiful home - Great experience
Beautiful old home that's well maintained. Had a little hiccup checking in but Chris was great and got it sorted out quickly. Traffic is fairly loud starting around 6-7 am during weekdays until around 9-10 pm but it was pretty quiet through the night. Nothing the owner can do about it as it's located directly at the corner of an intersection but this property still deserves 5 stars. Fast internet and a SmartTV for all your streaming services. Will definitely be looking to stay here again next year.
