« When we arrived, the house REEKED of cigarette smoke. We had to air the house out the entire first day and we could still smell it on the towels and faintly in the air. Clearly, the people before us did not follow the rules. We notified the host right away - he was very responsive. He had a cleaning lady come over; not much she could do, but she did bring a lighter so we could light some of the candles at least. Other than the smoke smell, the house was fine and as advertised. « Pretty nice stay overall. Location's clean and quiet. Deer and peacocks around if you like those. Hard to get lost. Only 5 miles off from stores if you need to pick something up. Negatives: I'm short and had a hard time reaching things, so I had to buy a stool (that's a me problem, I realize). The wi-fi never worked so I had to rely on mobile data (TV streamed through satellite so that was fine). Dealt with a lot of spiders and flies. Didn't try the hot tub because two wasps were hanging around...

Wildlife is able to be seen- early mornings are the best. Bird watching is also great here!
