From booking to check-in, through our stay and check-out, was convenient and hassle free. The property is ADORABLE and exactly as shown in the pictures. Everything we needed was already there (kitchen items/spices/coffee, extra towels/toiletries). The hot tub was such an added perk and made our stay even more relaxing and enjoyable. Our host, Steve, was amazing with communication from booking to check-out and the welcome basket of snacks was super thoughtful!I would absolutely recommend Alto Pass Loft and being hosted by Steve. ##### E C. My sister and I planned our trip and wanted to stay in Alto Pass (years ago I visited here with my mom). Rental was clean and had everything we needed. We did some hiking in Pomona - and there is a big trail right by the VRBO. Saw the Bald Knob Cross, which had family Christmas activities. We went to Murphysboro for shopping and dinner (Cummare's is sensational Italian!) and went to Carbondale Saturday night for the Lights Fantastic parade. This place has two nice-sized bedrooms, comfy leather furniture in the living space, and ample space throughout. The hot tub was the perfect temperature and just a few steps out the sliding door on the secluded deck. The water pressure is good in the shower. The four of us had plenty of fluffy towels for the hot tub and the shower. The floors are a little creaky but expected in an old building. The location is great - just down the street from the bourbon bar (serves more than bourbon), and right on the wine trail. There is also a fairly flat trail nearby that is an easy walk. My husband and two teens had a good time and plan to stay here again. ##### Jenny R.
