There is also a good tram link close by which runs from Alicante to Denia - so you can visit other towns pretty easily (fares are around 1.45 euros one way). "This apartment was wonderful for the 2 of us spending October away from the rains we have at home. Fabulous terrace large enough for dining. Fully equipped kitchen and everything needed for the beach. I would not recommend for 2 couples because the window of the second bedroom looks into the air shaft. Probably fine for a family with kids. We walked everywhere and never used a car. Sunrises over the sea everyday with gorgeous views. Altea itself is wonderful."
