"We enjoyed our stay at this apartment and would recommend it thoroughly. The location is great, right beside the beautiful old town where we ate every night in the wide variety of affordable restaurants. It is a 10 min walk from the sea front. The property has 2 beds and also a fold up bed. There is parking and a small pool which is easy to access from the apartment as it is just out the gate. We were the main users of the pool. "This is a lovely place once you find it - it’s a bit off the beaten track. Nice gardens and setting but nobody there. The housekeeper met us as we arrived at midday but she didn’t know which room we were supposed to be in so sent us away and said check in was at 2. Our room was big enough with nice bathroom and separate terrace which opened onto the garden and pool area. Another couple arrived about 8.30 the following night and nobody was there to meet them. "The apartment is situated just outside of Altea town centre, so only a short walk away (about 15mins). There is also a good tram link close by which runs from Alicante to Denia - so you can visit other towns pretty easily (fares are around 1.45 euros one way). As we did not have a car, we found this invaluable. The only minus was that as a self catering apartment, there are no shops close by - the nearest one is 300m away, so carrying water that distance can be tricky, especially if you do not...
