Beautiful place to stay! Comfortable and the staff were all friendly.
The only problem was the dogs barking for hours on end. They were likely the neighbors packs of dogs but could still be heard quite loudly which was annoying. The last night the sweet little dog at the hotel started in with them around 3:30 am waking us up.

The tree houses are set on a beautiful property. Staff are friendly and very helpful. We particularly enjoyed the coffee in the mornings from our balcony and the night walks.

Room was spotless and comfortable. Beautiful spot. Host was great!
Only thing I could suggest is the proper amount of towels for the amount of guests booked. We only had two towels for three guests. But this doesn’t affect how we feel about the place! Great stay!

We were lucky to find this hotel by accident on the internet. We had plans for a quick stay overnight and back to La Fortuna for the Cerro Chato hike, but once we arrived at the hotel and saw the cabins and grounds, we cancelled our hike. La Tigra is beautiful, peaceful and unique. Your cabin is at tree top level, one wall opens up and you can sleep with the curtains wide open and watch the stars. Adolfo and his team excel at customer service and we felt like one of the family.

We had a great stay at La Quinta. The rooms were clean, and the food was good. The best part though was the grounds. At night we walked in the rain and searched for tree frogs, and we saw so many of them.

Helen and her staff are wonderful. They were accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was delicious. Needs a bit better signage so you can find it as it is hidden in a long driveway and the winding road makes it difficult to see which one is the correct entry. Once you are there you will be charmed.

We stayed in one of the treehouses and had an unforgettable experience! The room itself was clean and spacious, and had a wrap around porch. We loved the "treehouse" feel, while also having the comfort of AC, running water and a full bathroom, a fridge, and a TV. They had a restaurant for the hotel guests and we ate dinner there twice - both meals were delicious. You are given three options for the free breakfast - the options given to us included a typical Costa Rican breakfast, pancakes, or an...

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast in the morning was fabulous. My partner and I really loved the tub. The shower was very nice, good water pressure and never ran out of hot water filling the giant tub and taking hot showers. It was a very unique property which was beautiful to walk around and interact with the dogs and other animals on the property.
