"We loved our stay here so much! The property is gorgeous and the bungalows feel very private and unique. The staff is incredible helpful and took us to our bungalow to walk us through the amenities. It is worth noting the location is very remote. If you do not have a car, the hotel was very helpful arranging taxis. The final road to get to the property is a very bumpy road so we didn’t want to leave more than we had too. We wish we had an extra day we could’ve spent to just enjoy the property and spa offerings. We did feel like the food in the restaurant could be improved upon for dinner. However breakfast was delicious. We loved the typical breakfast and juice offerings! All in all we would stay here again in a heartbeat! We might better plan to have a car and to eat out in the surrounding town."

"The Arenal observatory hotel was so beautiful … Located where you could see the Arenal volcano from a lookout point outside the restaurant. We were able to spot variously type of birds in our birding adventure. The breakfast was amazing … our waitress Joseph along with other staff were very professional . Breathing fresh pure air was a great welcome to our lungs . The room was well kept . Overall just amazing"

"The nightlight by the bed had these tiny switches that we couldn’t find for a while which was very frustrating. Otherwise the room was very clean, staff very helpful and friendly, breakfast buffet was abundant with various fresh fruits, baked goods and prepared eggs, rice, sausage, and potatoes."

"Be advised that the road to this amazing property is full of twists and turns which doesn't help anyone who is prone to motion sickness. Dramamine is a must! We arrived late at the property which there was a guard that pointed us to the way of the desk agent, who greeted us and helped us take our luggage to our suite. The room was cold, clean and had treats for us upon arrival as it was my birthday. Delicious chocolate ganache brownies! Dual shower heads with plenty of space to spare, bath robes, a private dining area, Jacuzzi tub and outside lounge area and well maintained to enjoy the sounds of the rainforest. The staff was very pleasant and gave us recommendations on what to on our next part of our journey which we are glad we followed through in Uvita with the Mangrove tour. Thank you Brian! The pools were clean and they have many different pools with different temps to soothe whatever sore muscles that you might have from your adventures. Breakfast was to die for, freshly played local fruits to start and a diverse menu, which we wanted to try more but the helping were so plentiful we couldn't finish it most of the time. Be sure to endulge in the little extra pastries at breakfast, you won't regret it! Room service was top notch as well. Although we were sad to go, we would recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing stay, anyone who loves to enjoy the outdoors and natural sounds of the Rainforest will be sure to enjoy!"
