"I loved the room, the breakfast, the pool, the grounds (there were wonderful paths leading to nearby goats that you could see on a neighboring property). There was a sauna and a hot tub but neither was on. There was a sign for yoga but I didn't see any yoga session."

We stayed in the family villa for 2 nights and found it to be spacious with beautifully landscaped grounds. The local waterfalls were easily accessible and we could walk to local restaurants. "We had an amazing time at Casa Del Rio. The staff were very friendly at check-in and during our stay. We enjoyed the different pools and the fun waterslide. The villa we stayed in was very comfortable and spacious and we really enjoyed having a grill on the deck and being able to self-cater some nights. We enjoyed the breakfast - there was a good selection on the menu and especially Diego was a fantastic waiter who looked after us and the kids really well. The location is really good - just a few minutes from the town but in a nice quiet location and close to the La Fortuna river and waterfall."

The hot springs were amazing after a long day of activities in town. We were able to see sloths and monkeys while at the property which was amazing. I would highly recommend staying here.

This is less of a resort feel and more mountain cabin, but still has really great perks like the jacuzzi - we went in every night. Amazing spot!"
