Acme Vacation Packages

First day, we went to the restaurant to grab a bite to eat after we had been traveling all day. Only one girl working and she was very rude, told us that she was too busy and was not letting anybody order off the menu at that time. I asked her what time they stopped serving lunch and she said 2:30. It was only 1:40. Went upstairs to our room and really wanted to brew a coffee, there were no K cups stocked. Had to go back down to the front desk to get some. Hotel is very old and rundown and dreary, in desperate need of remodeling. Room and hallways smelled musty. Bathtub was clogged and took half an hour to drain after we took showers. Tried calling guest services multiple times in the span of two hours and no one ever answered the phone. All we needed was some new towels because we used all of ours by day 2, had to stand in a long line of people checking in at the desk to ask for towels, was promptly told that housekeeping only comes once every three days. Did not need the room cleaned, just needed towels. One bed was comfortable, the other one had springs poking up through and it was very uncomfortable to sleep on. The only plus about the place is the location. Everything else was not worth it, would never stay there again.

Some confusion on my end with paying the deposit, as I thought I was paying for my room a second time, but the host was quick to clear it up. Another pleasant stay at this clean and quiet property.

Everything was in walking distance. Staff was amazing. Restaurant had very good food. It was well kept and cleaned.

So so rooms. Not as nice as other Curio hotels. Disappointing in that regard.
