"Great hotel and great amenities. The staff was amazing and so was the food. Unfortunately it is located in an area with little surrounding such as a supermarket, restaurants … also no phone service but a great WiFi coverage. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing holiday."

Beautiful facility with many pools and a good restaurant.
Only problem was that the air-conditioning was broken.

This property is very unique and beautifully designed. Worth every penny. But not much to do. It was wonderful for one night. Photographer's dream. Breakfast was delicious and the grounds were beautiful. Make sure to check out the light house port in Nazare.

Beautiful brand new beachside resort. Huge rooms with lovely grounds. Amazing gym and work out facility. Only warnings is that it's quite a ways out of town, and the restaurants food is absolutely awful.

Bonjour

The resort is exactly as described, clean, bright and comfortable. My husband golfed one day and I walked to the beach (approximately 40 minutes each way) You could swim in the lagoon but the ocean side was wild and looked dangerous but it is a spectacular beach. The course was excellent condition, bunkers nice and greens were fast. A fairly challenging layout.
It’s quite the drive to get to the resort but don’t worry, you’ll get there 😆 Overall a great experience!

A beautiful hotel in the core of the city close to all the key neighborhoods. It’s very fresh with restaurants and a lounge for after hours. The hotel staff is very friendly and attentive. When I first arrived, I had to finish a work call and the attendant brought me some sparkling wine. It was such a nice touch.

Wow, where to begin about Villa Dorothea. The property is absolutely stunning and the photos do not give it justice! Check in was smooth and our room was available early which was amazing. The welcome drinks and little check in waiting area is a great touch. The staff were incredible friendly and helped carry our luggage up to our room without asking. The suite we booked was stunning, with a separate living room, bedroom and a bonus dressing room with a view of the ocean.

I was beyond impressed with the facility, location but above all, the staff. The personnel was so kind, attentive and professional that this factor alone made my stay very enjoyable and pleasant. Coming back at night after a long walk around the city to sit in a quiet and beautifully decorated salon listening to an Amazing pianist was the cherry on top. I also was received at breakfast with a very much appreciated token for my birthday. Thank you very much!!!!!

We spent a wonderful 3 days at this hotel. It is a small boutique hotel situated on a quiet tree lined street in The Alfama area. But don't let the quiet street fool you - it is a great location, very close to the Castle and also a 15 minute walk to most of the sights downtown.
The reception is very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were the absolute best, especially their coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice.
