"We had a very nice stay at this hotel in the mountains. There were some nice (though not easy) walks nearby me the hotel felt much like a wellness retreat. We opted for 1/2 board (breakfast dinner) since there were not a lot of spots nearby and the driving made me a bit nervous. The menu had good selection and I appreciated seeing wines on the menu from their Duoro vineyard location. "

"Stayed one night as part of a tour. The location is truly stunning with fabulous views. Hotel was clean and tidy, only downside was the pool looked a bit grimy. "Such a beautiful property, big rooms, exceptionally clean, excellent staff service and always ready to help. The manager was just absolutely amazing and very understanding. The highlight for me was the gym. Loved it ! My children loved the swimming pools, the architecture of the building and it's history. The only thing that was a small issue was that there is no public transport and expensive to get taxis to main city. Hence i would recommend one hires a car or drives their own. Nevertheless...

"Beautiful peaceful location with excellent staff. Very small bedroom but numerous lounge areas which would make it very suitable for groups of family or friends. Paid for a mountain view but couldn't see them because trees obstructed the view. Guests should be aware that the property is about 15 kilometres before the town of Mantegias and is quite isolated. "
